Rumor: Guild Wars 2 coming June 28th
ArenaNet is currently Beta testing the hell out of Guild Wars 2 and readying for launch. Rumor is that launch may be sooner than some had expect; say late next month. Kotaku is reporting that a Fry’s in Texas is pimping a release date of June 28th for the MMO. If things go swimmingly for the painterly MMO, we may be questing and defeating dragons next month.
[UPDATE] ArenaNet has denied that this is the release date. As the release date will be determined after some more Beta testing, which makes sense. Still, one could indeed hope for a June or July release.
